Digital Marketer/Copywriter
Do you have a passion for marketing and a love for writing?
We are seeking a talented web marketer and digital copywriter who will be responsible for the creation of written and image online marketing content for our clients. This includes managing websites, blog content (thought leadership), social media platforms, newsletters, etc. in a wide variety of industries and sectors. You will think creatively and develop new messages, design concepts, graphics, and layouts for online marketing efforts.
Your job, as a digital marketer and copywriter, is to engage the reader and motivate them to do something, such as buy a product or service or to convey valuable information about a brand, industry or issue while keeping keyword use/research in mind for SEO purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for product/service copywriting. This includes digital content development for websites, social media, emails, banners and blogs, etc.
- Research products/services, style trends and other details to develop adequate background for the writing of copy.
- Create social media calendars to share content (original text, images, video) on various platforms, building meaningful connections and engaging a community audience for various clients.
- Working with our team in executing on digital marketing plans.
- Create artwork for digital media including web banners, ads, and social media graphics.

Do you have what it takes?
- Experience in managing social media accounts (please provide examples). In-depth knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
- Experience with the WordPress content management system.
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop.
- You are a storyteller – you know how to craft an original tale from beginning, to middle, to end. You know the rules of an engaging story, when to follow them and when to break them. A portfolio containing examples of original marketing copy and other copy examples written exclusively by you required.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure on deadlines maintaining relationships with executive stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- You can self-manage your workload and projects, keeping up with multiple accounts on a routine basis. Strong organisational skills required.
- Videography skills an asset.
